Utah Drug and Alcohol Addiction Rehabilitation

Several methods have proven effective in helping an alcoholic or drug addict who has acknowledged their addiction.
Intervention: With the help of trained counselors, family and friends the individual is confronted with a group. This helps convince the alcoholic or drug addict that their behavior is hurting themselves and those they love. The intent of an intervention is to get the individual to agree to inpatient drug rehabilitation or alcohol treatment center.
Inpatient Treatment Programs: These programs help with medical detox and provide training on dependency, alcoholism, drug abuse and how to live sober. Inpatient treatment programs require the patient to live at the center for a predetermined period of time.

Rehabilitation Treatment Centers
We assess each client using a standardized test. From our testing we determine which treatment option is best. If residential treatment is not necessary, the testing will indicate what the best method of treatment is. After detox is completed, the patient is transferred to Steps Recovery Center, a rehabilitation treatment center.
Steps Recovery Center will help the patient recovery from the symptoms of alcohol and drug addiction. Steps Recovery will also assist in providing the tools to address temptation. An in-patient rehab program provides a structured environment with a set schedule. Classes which educate the patient about addiction, group and individual therapy sessions, and counseling are provided along with meals.
It is essential that family and friends are involved with the recovery process. Honest communication between family members is essential for recovery Outpatient rehab programs offer similar services, but with less structured schedules and more freedom. Which type of program is right for the patient will depend what stage of the recovery process the patient is at.

- Anxiety or irritability
